Marmomac is the world’s leading event for the lithic industry and represents the entire supply chain, from raw materials to semi-finished and finished products, from machinery and processing technologies to the possible applications of stone in architecture and design.
This year, Mec is participating for the first time in a special event in which Water and Stone come together: the promenade on the water.
The exhibition will take place inside The Italian Stone Theater, Hall 1, where you can walk on a split stone walkway (BLUMAGGIA gneiss and Beola in particular) created with Mec technology.
Mec is glad to announce the conference THE STONE SPLITTING: Considerations and reflections on the most antic finishing ever, in Area Forum Hall 1, Friday, September 28th at 2:30 PM. A tribute to the split stone and all that may be achieved with it, especially within modern architectural stream and design. The speakers are Piero Primavori and his guests, Andrea Angheben and Mauro Camusso.
During the Conference, the volume of the book THE SPLIT STONE, from Piero Primavori and published by MEC, will be presented.
