MEC range of stone splitting machines includes open-frame and closed-frame machines, also known as SPLITTER or CROPPING MACHINES, with which to split any type of natural stone. Flexibility is their main characteristic: each of them can be set up and customized according to customer needs and integrated into complete lines.
Machines with a closed or open frame that can work mostly irregular stone or uneven boulders. They can work in quarries, as well as in stone processing laboratories. It’s the operator who decides when and how to split the input material, thanks to the manual controls. All manual machines are equipped with blades and with tool adjustment.
Machines characterized by a closed (H frame) frame that work regular or sawn blocks or strips automatically. These automatic lines can be created for high quality and high volume production, thanks to the available combination of different handling systems and various forms of automation. The splitting plants can also be complete with automatic systems for loading and unloading and/or palletizing of finished products.
This family of machines splits horizontally and is suitable for splitting long and thin pieces which would otherwise have to be sawn. They are ideal for veined materials and for recovery of waste material from stone sawing.
Our machines guarantee precision and efficiency for every kind of processing. Whether stone splitting, concrete splitting, stone cutting, or concrete cutting we have you covered. For each kind of processing MEC stands behind their equipment from the smallest details to the final precision of the split
We build custom machines. The beginning and end of our production is the suitability of the machine to the customer production requirements. No MEC machine is "off the shelf" and all our equipment is tailored specifically to the customer specification. The customer’s requirements and the finish product are the start and finish checkpoints of our design and production.
Our machines guarantee absolute power for every kind of processing. Some manufacturers offer a "one size fits all" approach to their machines. Our approach is to produce a machine with the appropriate power to assure correct splits. Not all stone is the same, but we have a power configuration for the softest limestone to the toughest quartzite and granite. This means quality, this means choosing MEC.
