WHY PUBLISH A BOOK ON SPLITTING?
2011 saw us working together with Mr.Primavori to produce the book “STONE SPLITTING” the first manual entirely dedicated to splitting stone.
This volume came about through the idea of having a consultation tool for the characteristics, applications, performances and advantages of splitting.
Why have we thought of producing a publication on splitting?

To offer operators a technical-promotional tool;

To reveal the characteristics and properties of splitting;
-
To promote the technology, also in the environmental sense, of hygiene and safety in the workplace;

To illustrate the intended use of the goods produced by splitting;
-
To guide and direct the choice and selection of machines and systems.
The first edition of the volume was presented in Italian during the MARMOMACC 2011 trade fair in Verona.

The English version has already been completed and a preview can be viewed. Translations into other languages are planned for the future.
WHAT IS OUR BOOK ABOUT?
In the stone material sector splitting identifies an operation of dividing of an element into smaller elements by force.
While this has been performed by hand by man since the beginning of time, today we use electro-hydraulic systems.
The goods produced are used in building (flooring, wall coverings, architectural components), in urban furnishing, design, and religious art, as well as road, hydraulic and infrastructural works.
This volume describes the splitting of natural stone, divided by its sector.
The various themes wind their way through 7 chapters, integrated by 3 final Appendices, dedicated to the company identity, advice for producing samples and a busy technical vocabulary respectively.
