The Half Series: Using up left-over stone
Using up discarded stone blocks after the sawing process.
The machines from the Half Range have been designed especially to use up pieces left over from the sawing process. The machine splits the stone laterally, dividing the blocks perfectly in half. This process is suitable for sawn blocks and/or stone which is completely even on all 6 sides.
Producing small stone tiles and borders suitable for walls and flooring, this type of natural stone product is highly sought after in today’s market.

How does the MEC Half work?
The machine has a simple, fast automated cycle, the user chooses the splitting height, places the blocks ready to be cut, then after splitting removes the finished product.
What's the difference between Half and MDL?
The choice is based on the material to be cut. Half is suitable for cutting smaller blocks, while material of longer dimensions requires a more appropriate machine from the MDL range.
The two models: Half 1 and Half 2
Mec Half 1 : splits stone with a maximum width and height of 5cm
Mec Half 2 : splits stone with a maximum width of 20cm and max. height of 16cm
