The MDC series: reduce transport costs by taking the splitting machine to where the stone is.
Suitable for splitting cladding, stone wall coverings, cement, re-using and re-cycling leftover material.
Particularly useful for splitting stone to be used as cladding, cement products , in the manufacture of border tiles, stone facings for walls and re-cycling left over or waste materials from varying situations such as road building, on-site at the quarry or even at the workshop.

Weighing only 750 kg, the machines from the MDC range are easily transportable by pick-up or small truck. Easily lifted onto a vehicle by a small crane thanks to the rings positioned at the top of the machine, or by fork-lift using the slots under the machine.
Having an MDC on-site saves money and time with regards to transport, whilst increasing production time and safety, as workers are no longer exposed to unnecessary loading/ unloading of materials.

The MDC Machines: Fixed (blade); Mobile (blade); Automated
As always MEC tries to adapt its machines to suit different types of stone and product. MDC FIX have fixed blades and have been developed for splitting sawn or regular blocks. The MDC Mobile was created for cutting uneven and irregular blocks. With the addition of a conveyor to move the stone to the splitting area, MEC has created the MDC Automated range, a minimal investment provides a fast system that splits at a rate of every 1.5 to 3 seconds.
