The Trittico Series: Three big advantages when splitting stone
Trittico is a range that can split uneven blocks of stone ranging from 30cm to 100cm in height. This range was originally conceived to eliminate the amount of effort required in placing heavy stone blocks under the splitting tool. Thanks to the use of conveyors to transport material both before and after the splitting process Trittico eases the work load.
Here are the essential advantages of the Trittico Range:
No unnecessary exertion when positioning stone under the blade.
A double mobile conveyor moves the stone up to the splitting area. Each conveyor is motorised and operates independently of the other, however when synchronised they are able to move the stone , and if required even rotate the blocks by 360° to place them in exactly the right position for cutting. This range of movement means that the profile of the stone can be followed to obtain a perfect split.
Multiple splitting of the same stone in a single cycle.
As there are conveyors either side of the splitting area, the same piece of stone may be transported backwards and forwards on a single conveyor for multiple cutting, rather than having to manually return a block to the start of the production process.
Modular
Machines from the Trittico Ranges can be used as stand alone operations or be placed at the head of a production line.
