These are fast, robust reasonably priced machines available with a splitting power that ranges from 24 to 240 tonnes. These versatile machines are able to produce a wide variety of products: small cubes, wall stones, curbstones and paving stones are just a few examples.
The safety system of your choice
There is the choice of three extremely effective safety systems: push-button, sensors or photocell. All three of which conform to recognised safety norms and standards.
- Button safety system: consisting of two buttons positioned in front of the operator, which when pressed at the same time causes the blade to descend and split the material. The machine will not work if only one button is pushed.
- Sensor safety system: consisting of two capacitive sensors positioned in front of the operator. Both hands should be applied at the same time, thus allowing the blade to descend and split the material. The machine will not work if the operator only places one hand on a sensor.
- Photocell safety control system: The operator wears reflective gloves which are detected by the photocell sensors. The 2 photocells at the top of the machine project a cone shaped field that is outside of the splitting range, reading when the hands are in the correct position. Splitting only takes place when both hands are detected by the photocells, if even one hand strays from this field the system will block automatically. Should a hand accidentally go under the blade for example, the splitting process is immediately interrupted and an accident avoided.
